1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using VELVET ("the Platform," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not access or use the Platform. These terms apply to all users, including independent creators, production studios, and marketing agencies.

We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the Platform. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

2. Eligibility & Age Verification

VELVET is an adult professional network intended exclusively for individuals and entities operating in the adult creative industry. By registering, you confirm that:

• You are at least 18 years of age
• You have provided accurate identity and age verification documents
• All persons depicted in any content you upload are 18 years of age or older
• You possess valid documentation proving the age of any person depicted in your content, and will produce such documentation on request
• You are legally permitted to engage in the activities facilitated by the Platform in your jurisdiction

VELVET employs a mandatory age and identity verification process for all accounts. Failure to complete verification, or providing false information, will result in immediate account termination and may be reported to relevant authorities.

3. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Keep your contact information and verification documents up to date
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
• Not share your account with third parties or allow others to use your account
• Not create multiple accounts to circumvent bans or restrictions

4. Content Standards

By uploading content to VELVET, you represent and warrant that:

• You own or have the rights to all content you upload
• All depicted individuals are at least 18 years of age and have provided informed consent
• Content does not depict or imply non-consensual activity
• Content does not depict minors in any sexual context
• Content complies with all applicable laws in your jurisdiction and ours

VELVET reserves the right to remove any content that violates these standards without notice. Violations related to minor-protection laws will be reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and relevant law enforcement.

5. Platform Services

VELVET provides a professional networking platform that facilitates connections between independent creators, production studios, and marketing agencies. The Platform provides communication tools, booking features, contract management, and content hosting.

VELVET is a platform and is not a party to agreements made between users. We do not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of any production, booking, or collaboration arranged through the Platform. Users are solely responsible for any agreements they enter into with other users.

6. Payments & Subscriptions

VELVET offers free and paid subscription tiers. Paid subscriptions ("PRO") are billed monthly or annually. All fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law or at VELVET's sole discretion.

You authorize VELVET to charge your payment method for recurring subscription fees. You may cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

7. Intellectual Property

You retain all intellectual property rights in content you upload. By uploading content, you grant VELVET a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, display, and distribute your content solely for the purpose of operating the Platform.

VELVET's trademarks, logo, and Platform design are the exclusive property of VELVET and may not be used without prior written permission.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, illegal activity, or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to access the Platform ceases immediately.

You may delete your account at any time through your Settings page or by contacting support@velvet.network.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, VELVET shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to VELVET in the 12 months preceding the claim.

The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.
